Celebrate the conclusion of the 2026 MSO Academy year with emerging professional instrumentalists and musicians of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. The chamber program features the world premiere of a new MSO-commissioned work by Cybec Young Composer in Residence Andrew Aronowicz alongside Beethoven’s Septet, one of the composer’s most popular works during his lifetime.
Sunday 13 December 2026 at 11:00am at Iwaki Auditorium, ABC Southbank Centre. The showcase features Academy members Jamie Miles (viola), Georgia White (clarinet), Hayden Burge (bassoon) and Jacob Fenchel (horn) with MSO musicians. It is intended for general classical audiences, emerging musicians, students and anyone interested in the next generation of orchestral performers.
