Federation Square will pulse with rhythm, colour and flavour when the African Music & Cultural Festival returns for its 13th year. Across three joyful days, more than 40 Victorian African communities come together for live music, dance, food, fashion, storytelling and cultural celebration. Expect bold performances, irresistible beats, traditional and contemporary sounds, colourful displays and plenty of opportunities to discover the diversity of African cultures in the heart of Melbourne.
The festival runs Friday 20 to Sunday 22 November 2026 at Federation Square. Entry is free and the event is designed for all ages, making it a lively choice for families, groups of friends and anyone who loves music, dance and great food.
