Bee Buddies: Create Your Own Bee-Friendly Seed Bombs

Bee Buddies is a hands-on school-holiday workshop combining pollinator science with messy, creative fun. Children learn why bees are so important, discover what makes a flower pollinator-friendly and create their own seed bombs using clay, soil and nectar-rich flower seeds. š±āØ
Young bee buddies will:
š Learn about bees and the important job of pollination
šø Discover which flowers help feed local pollinators
š Mix clay, soil and seeds by hand
š£ Shape their own bee-friendly seed bombs
š” Take the finished creations home
š Receive planting instructions so the seeds have the best chance to grow
The workshop is designed for children aged 5ā12 and runs from 10:30am to 11:30am on Wednesday 30 September 2026 at Heritage Hill Museum and Historic Gardens.
Tickets are $15 and advance booking is required through the official event page. Wear clothes ready for a little soil and clay, then prepare to make something small that could bring a big buzz to your garden! š»š
