Jams for Juniors gives babies and toddlers a playful, participatory introduction to live music through Brahms' Fourth Symphony. Children and their adults can pull up a cushion, explore sounds, play and join in during a 30-minute workshop led by presenter Karen Kyriakou with the MSO Jams Ensemble. It is designed primarily for children aged 0-5 and their carers, with a welcoming attitude to noise and movement.
Saturday 31 October 2026 at Iwaki Auditorium. Available sessions begin at 11:00am, 12:00pm and 1:00pm; the 10:00am session is sold out. Each workshop runs for 30 minutes with no interval. The 1:00pm session includes additional relaxed adaptations and Auslan interpretation and welcomes older children who would benefit from reduced sensory stimulation.
General admission is $19, and every attendee—big or small—requires a ticket. An $8 transaction fee applies per order. Book through the official MSO ticket link. The venue is wheelchair, walker and scooter accessible and service animals are permitted. Accessibility features include a quiet space, chill-out areas, extra movement space and trained staff.
