Dandenong Market
Dandenong Market is a long-running traditional working market in the heart of Dandenong, established in 1866. Visitors can explore fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, seafood and deli traders, bakeries, international groceries, cafés and takeaway food, clothing, jewellery, flowers, gifts, homewares and other general merchandise. Market Square offers ready-to-eat food, while The Bazaar and other market areas provide a broad mix of shopping.
Regular trading schedule: Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7:00am to 4:00pm, and Sunday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. The General Merchandise area opens at 8:00am on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Public-holiday hours can vary, so check the official website before travelling. This EventsOn entry uses the next Friday market date because the current listing form does not provide a recurring-date field.
