How to Train Your Dragon 2 in Concert

DreamWorks’ How to Train Your Dragon 2 is presented in high definition while the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra performs John Powell’s acclaimed score live to picture. Conducted by Nicholas Buc, the film-concert follows Hiccup and Toothless as they discover a secret ice cave, encounter wild dragons and a mysterious Dragon Rider, and become caught in a battle over the future of humans and dragons. The production combines the complete animated adventure with the scale and immediacy of a live symphony orchestra. Winner of the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film, the sequel is known for its animation, storytelling and emotional sweep. This live presentation is designed as a family event and will appeal to film-music fans, animation audiences, orchestral newcomers and existing fans of the How to Train Your Dragon series.
