Kate Miller-Heidke – The Kiss & The Abyss Album Launch

Kate Miller-Heidke returns to Melbourne for an intimate, reserved-seating celebration of her new album, The Kiss & The Abyss. Upstairs in Forum II, the genre-defying singer-songwriter will bring the record’s gothic folk, theatrical storytelling, cinematic textures and old-world instrumentation to life, accompanied by longtime collaborator Keir Nuttall on guitar. The concert will feature selections from the new album—some performed live for the first time—alongside songs that have defined Kate’s acclaimed career. The Kiss & The Abyss explores the distortions and seductions of the internet age, pairing mythological imagery with distinctly modern anxieties, so audiences can expect a performance that feels atmospheric, thoughtful and sharply contemporary. Two Melbourne performances are scheduled for 15 and 16 September, both beginning at 6:30pm in Forum II. Seating is reserved.
