Nature Play at Alex Wilkie Nature Reserve

Let little explorers lead the way during a gentle morning of play, wildlife and outdoor discovery! 🌿👣 Nature Play is a free, child-led outdoor playgroup for children aged 0–6 and their families, facilitated by a qualified ranger at Alex Wilkie Nature Reserve. Young children can follow their curiosity, notice the sights and sounds around them and build confidence in a beautiful natural setting. 🐞🌳 The session includes: 🥾 A gentle nature walk through the reserve 🐾 Opportunities to encounter and learn about local wildlife 👃 Exploration of the sensory trail 🍂 Child-led play using the natural environment 🧠 Early learning through movement, observation and imagination 🤝 Relaxed time for families to connect outdoors The session runs from 10:00am to 11:00am on Tuesday 1 September 2026. Entry is free; check the official Greater Dandenong page for any current attendance or booking instructions before travelling. Dress children for outdoor play, bring water and be ready for the weather. There is no need to rush—the joy is in stopping to look, listen, touch and discover together! 🦋✨
