The Melbourne Pen and Stationery Show brings together more than 70 local, national and international exhibitors for a weekend devoted to writing instruments, ink, journals, stickers, calligraphy and contemporary stationery. Visitors can test fountain pens and ink colours, meet makers and artists, watch 3D-printed pens being made, have fountain-pen nibs tuned by specialist nibmeisters and explore current stationery trends. The program also advertises calligraphy workshops with guest teacher Bechori from Japan.
The show is at Crown Promenade Melbourne, 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank, on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026. Saturday hours are 12:00pm–5:00pm; Sunday hours are 9:00am–4:00pm. Tickets permit entry and re-entry from the selected session time until closing that day, subject to venue capacity. A separate ticket is needed for each day.
Live public ticket options currently range from $10 to $30 depending on arrival session. Available examples include Saturday entry from 2:00pm for $20 and from 4:00pm for $15, plus Sunday sessions from $10, $15 or $20. The earliest Saturday sessions are currently sold out. Children under 12 enter free when accompanied by an adult. Carers accompanying a ticket holder with a disability enter free on presentation of a valid Companion Card.
