The Music of Elton

Forty years after Elton John invited the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra to join his landmark Australian orchestral tour, the MSO celebrates his music in a run of Australian-exclusive tribute concerts at Hamer Hall. A full orchestra performs alongside singer and pianist Jason Dean and his Superband, led by conductor and musical director Chong Lim AM. The program brings Elton John's best-known songs to orchestral life in a concert designed for long-time fans, families and anyone seeking an uplifting night of popular music and nostalgia. Performances: Thursday 1, Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October 2026 at 7:30pm, plus Sunday 4 October at 1:00pm. Venue: Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne, 100 St Kilda Road, Southbank.
