The Southbank Makers Market is a free, family-friendly Sunday market celebrating Melbourne's local creative community. Browse a curated selection of handmade jewellery, art, ceramics, homewares and distinctive gifts, meet makers and artists face-to-face, and learn about the ideas and processes behind products made in Melbourne.
Stallholders trade in marquees along the Yarra River Promenade between Evan Walker Bridge and Princes Bridge, beside the cafes and restaurants of Southgate. The market runs on Sundays from 2 August to 27 September 2026, 10:00am–4:00pm, except 13 September when it will not operate because of Connor's Run.
Entry is free and no booking is required. The listed location is Southbank Promenade (eastern end), 3 Southgate Avenue, Southbank. The organiser reports accessible toilets, mobility access and service-animal access; this accessibility information is self-reported and has not been independently verified by the City of Melbourne.
