For ten unforgettable days, Tamworth becomes the beating heart of Australian country music. The 55th Toyota Country Music Festival will bring more than 700 artists to stages, pubs, streets and venues across the city, with buskers, emerging talent, household names, free outdoor concerts and ticketed headline shows creating music around almost every corner.
The 2027 festival runs from Friday 15 to Sunday 24 January under the theme 'Every Corner. Every Stage. Every Sound'. Faces of the Festival include Adam Harvey, Amber Lawrence, Dear Tommie, Max Jackson and Robbie Mortimer, while announced highlights include Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar-Daley and the Golden Guitar Awards. Entry to the ungated festival, street program and many Toyota Park events is free; individual concerts and awards shows may require separately purchased tickets.
The broad public program welcomes all ages. Accessible facilities and support vary by venue, so check each ticketed show's conditions and the official festival access information. Tamworth is extremely busy during festival week: book accommodation early, use official transport advice and confirm daily schedules before setting out.
