Ultimo clothes swap

Ultimo clothes swap is a free community reuse event for City of Sydney residents, presented by the City of Sydney with The Clothing Exchange. Bring quality preloved garments, meet local fashion and sustainability enthusiasts, and exchange items for something new-to-you without spending money. The event runs on Saturday 29 August 2026 from 11:00am to 12:30pm at Ultimo Community Centre, 40 William Henry Street, Ultimo. Check-in is from 11:00am to 11:55am, followed by sorting; the swap begins at noon. Arrivals after 11:55am must wait until the swap starts before checking items in. Bring up to five clean, pressed, seasonally appropriate items in excellent condition, including clothing, belts, bags, shoes, scarves, ties or hats. Jewellery, wigs, underwear, socks, swimwear, sportswear, activewear, damaged or heavily worn items are not accepted. Admission is free, but advance Eventbrite booking is required and sessions often book out.
